This portfolio website project serves as a dynamic showcase for the creator's work and experiences in architecture, human-computer interaction (HCI), and research, designed and built entirely from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Different from the current portfolio, this site is structured to highlight the most relevant projects through a flexible, scalable design, enabling the integration of future work with minimal code modification.
This portfolio site offers multiple interactive sorting methods to enhance user experience. Projects have several attributes including type, location, and date. Users can sort projects by type, view them on a 3D interactive globe based on their location, or explore them on a scrollable timeline. The globe is an interactive 3D component built from an external library. Additionally, an external library was used to create the timeline feature. Through an interactive button set, the users can choose to display the projects by their choice of sort method. The categories, globe, and timeline all provide visually engaging methods for interacting with the projects and provide an opportunity for users to explore and differentiate projects.
Once a project is selected, users are directed to a detailed project page that displays descriptions, attributes, and a media gallery. The portfolio is targeted toward hiring managers, recruiters, and professionals in architecture and HCI, offering a clear, engaging resource to showcase skills and experience.  It acts as a resource that can be provided to these users to aid in the hiring process for the architecture and HCI fields.
